| Held at the historically
accurate recreation of Olde Town San Diego,
in a stylized
architectural rendition of a simple Mexican
Village,
this well attended event brought together alumni and students for an
evening of fun and frivolity intended to foster the advancement of KCR,
Student-Run Radio at SDSU. Although every aspect of the evening was congenial and inclusive, the highlight had to be when several alumnus coerced a passing Mariachi to break character long enough to throw down rousing performances of Stairway to Heaven and Twist and Shout. A short presentation by Alumni Executive Committee members described the success of the Mentorship and Intern Placement Programs. Later, everyone in turn gave the group a brief introduction of themselves. |

the street, as is the Holiday Inn Express... the Courtyard by Marriott
